I've seen that before. Two strangers meet in a hallway: Asker: "Are you single and unattached?" Askee: "Yes." Asker: "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?" Askee: "No." Asker: "Then I'M in love with YOU!" Love at first sight? How can that possibly be? Love or infatuation? Love or lust? I've known people who have seen a MOTAS from a distance a few times and have said they liked the person. How can you possibly like someone you don't even know? I could understand physical attraction, but don't confuse that with deeper emotions. I don't believe love at first sight exists. Love is much more than that. It is built on friendship. It takes time. It takes communication. Completely honest and open communication at ALL times. It takes understanding - even when you can't seem to give it. Real love takes time. It stands the test of time. It grows with time. Both people grow in a positive direction because of it. Love can't be forced to happen. Love at first sight is only two people kidding themselves. How long can you con yourself into believing it's love? Love might actually develop, but if it doesn't you're in for a big disappointment. Filling voids in your life at the expense of another is ridiculous. It has to be a two-way street. It isn't automatic. "Love is blind." No it isn't. Not real love. Real love never dies, blind love does. Walt Kurszewski ihnp4!ihuxl!walt2
