When I discovered his work about 8 months ago on PBS (he has taped a number of shows for them that pop up occasionally) he gave me quite a few new insights into myself and into life in general. He has recently had a book on the NYT best seller list (whose name has left me, of course) that is a compilation of some of his more famous speeches, and it has helped me come to a new understanding of my life and my relationships. Indirectly, it speeded up the coming of my divorce-in-progress because it helped bring into focus the things that I knew were not working but couldn't quantify. I also feel that the attitudes and philosophies that I have gotten from his works have been significant in helping me cope with a very traumatic situation and the changes going on in my life. The 'Hug Doctor', as my soon to be ex wife snidely calls him, has some very good things to say about life and living, and I would recommend any of his works. -- -- Diogenes looked in and laughed-- From the dungeons of the warlock Chuqui the Plaid Note the new address: {fortune,menlo70}!nsc!chuqui ~And as I lived my role I swore I'd sell my soul for one love who would stand by me and give me back the gift of laughter~ - Winslow Leech
