If you are implying that New York teams are the most likely ones to
end up in the Series, then you must have forgotten how far the
Chicago White Sox got last year.  In fact, did the combined wins of
the Yankees and the Mets equal what Chicago won last year?  That
would be interesting to see.  Hmmmm........
