Ten tradition of `getting the olive' (ie. choking). I believe it was started by Wisconsin in their last Rose Bowl appearance ('59?). There was talk back then that the Badgers did too much sight-seeing and partying and did not have enough left for the game. I would think the Big Ten representative would try hard to prevent this. Choking in the big game must be the answer, unless the Big Ten is just inferior to the Pac 10 and the Big Ten teams don't deserve to be favored. Carl W. Amport Naperville, IL.
