Auburn pulled it off without even scoring a TD, and Michigan's defense never cracked... but the biggie had to be the Hurricanes in the Orange Bowl refusing to be intimidated by a bunch of overgrown farm boys; strategy and finesse triumph over brute force and a one-man offense. Actually, I was kind of hoping Miami would get the chance to run the score up; say 60-10 or something like that; after all, Nebraska deserved it given a few of their manglings earlier this season. That's alright, though; the Huskers will spend a miserable winter and that suits me fine. Gloat, gloat. -- "Go ahead...make my day."
