Center Lines: 22 As one might figure from reading the newspapers, there is almost nothing a coach won't do to take the pressure off a team by putting them at an apparent (but not real) disadvantage. Until this week North Carolina has been trailing Kentucky in the UPI Coaches Poll voting by the slimmest of margins. One week they were tied for first place votes and North Carolina trailed Kentucky by only one placing vote. It was revealed in the Chapel Hill Newspaper yesterday that Dean Smith's ballot has, for the past several weeks, been marked as follows: (1) Maryland (2) Wake Forest (3) N.C.
