Lines: 7 Sorry gang, but some gas taxes ARE deductible. If you use the gas in a boat, airplane, or certain farm equipment, the taxes paid may be deducted. At least that is what it has been. Get a tax book and it will outline how to do this. There are ways to deduct quite a few things that seem to be non-deductible. And they are all legal. You can even deduct the cost of the book.
