I posted an article requesting information for camping and biking
in Hawaii in April for my honeymoon. Most of the responses I have
received (thanks a lot for them!!) have all said that things are
frequently stolen,
and the natives are not friendly to Caucasians. Although we are
still considering Hawaii, we NEVER suspected there were problems
like this. Therefore, we are considering other places in the U.S
to bike and camp in mid April. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.  We want to go to a place that has good roads,
slight chance of snow, and good campsites.
