  In the realm of exclusive agreements between Showtime/HBO and
movie producers, HBO also has a few tricks up their sleeve.
HBO is financing movies in return for first shot at cable rights.
Previous movies so treated included Tootsie.
  This isn't really intended to be an argument for HBO, but I figured
I should balance the argument.
