You get to define macros that start with escape followed by strings of funny characters (things sent by z19's and vt100's) to be arbitrary command sequences. Other than that, it's close to EMACS. You can get it from the MIT CSRG (more exact information available upon request), for $50 or thereabouts. It comes as part of the CLU compiler system for VAXEN.
