                Wow!!!! I wouldn't be posting a reply to flames that
      were mailed to me, but since 2 were posted this *bear-baiter*
      will make public his defense.

                Jellinek, I talked of restrictions, not anything
      being mandatory. Also the keywords in my article were *opinion*
      and what I personally think, not fire and brimstone gospel.
      Plain and simple. You even say this later in your flame:

         >You're welcome to your opinions, for that is all
         >they are.

     I agree. Apparently you do not, as evidenced by having the need
     to tell me something impolite  to do with asparagus and broccoli.
     And I do live and let live; just because one has opinions
     (which everybody has) doesn't mean one condemns opposing
     viewpoints. You feel sorry for me???? Actually I feel
     sorry for you, if you get so worked up over somebody else's
     thoughts I can't imagine how you cope with life's real problems.

                Drabek, your flame is of a more civilized nature,
     and you make some points that are well taken. Although you
     somehow seem to think I'm *offended* by ideas other than my
     own. Your article does solicit an apology however, for not using
     the net as it was intended.
                Sorry for trying your patience, Robert, since I
     didn't submit something which *supported and gently dis-
     cussed in a positive light* your views. Nothing is ever
     gained when everyone shares a single *positive* viewpoint,
     however.
