The "see you next Wednesay" line in Thriller was one of
my favorite bits.  It's been a running gag of John Landis'
since (at least) his first little seen and quite funny
"Schlock."  There "See you next Wednesday" was a movie title
that was referred to over and over again, and always seemed
to be a different movie.  It crops in Kentucky Fried Movie,
The Blues Brothers, and American Werewolf.  Not having seen
Twilight Zone, I don't know if it was somewhere in his segment
of that film.  

There is also a poster for Schlock on display just outside the
theater in Thriller, behind the shots of the girl.
