Message-ID: <134@idi.UUCP> Date: Sat, 31-Dec-83 06:45:46 EST Article-I.D.: idi.134 Posted: Sat Dec 31 06:45:46 1983 Date-Received: Sun, 1-Jan-84 02:09:47 EST Organization: Intelligent Decisions, Saratoga, CA Lines: 22 I'm looking for advise on good spots for scuba diving. I've been to Baja and to Cozumel, as well as up and down the California coast. And I read Skin Diver magazine, with its not-too-descriminating reviews of diving locations. I would like to hear first hand information about the following locations. I;m interested in things like cost, facilities available (rental outlets, boats, etc.), quality of food and lodging, kinds and quality of diving (boat only, wrecks, caves, etc.). I'm trying to plan another trip, but don't want to end up in another Cozumel, with great diving and almost nothing else to do. Pointers to someone with whom to set up reservations would be helpful, too. Cayman Islands, Bonaire Island, Great Barrier Reef, Maui, Kuaii, Red Sea, Seychelles, Martinique, Florida and the Oregon and Washington coasts. My machine doesn't get net.rec.scuba, so please respond by mail. I'll summarize if there's interest. -- Rick Kiessig decvax!sun!idi!kiessig or ucbvax!sun!idi!kiessig
