We seem to have very few software tools to make the students' lives easier. In particular, we lack a PL/I pretty- printer (aka reformatter or beautifier). Does anyone out there have such a beast? I would be happy with a prettyprinter written in PL/I, Fortran, Pascal, Bliss, or C, or even (if all else failed) in a set of yacc/lex productions for PL/I, from which I could write my own prettyprinter. Any pointers to such software or other interesting tools for PL/I programming (e.g. a lint for checking inter-file dependencies?) would be greatly appreciated. Also, tools for such dialects of PL/I as PL/C or the "G" subset would be quite acceptable. J.Q. Johnson Computer Aided Design Instructional Facility Hollister Hall Cornell U.
