Our main product is a UN*X based navigation system. A couple hav already been sold, and, based upon those, several more orders have arrived. The positions we're looking for are: Position: Applications/System Programmer Duties: Applications: Work on maintaining/imporiving our navigation software. Also, various independant support software has been and will be written. Systems: We have a fairly heavily modified version of UN*X, and therefore must support it. This would be heaven for some lucky programmer. Examples are device driver writing, more kernel modifactions, bug tracking down, getting uucp working, etc. Position: Technician/Programmer Duties Technician: To maintain our PDP 11/23 development system, and to help support our products that go out the door. Programmer: To help in some of the software work (where else but a small office could a tech program? Even though we are small office, we have also have the advantage of a larger company, since we are a division of Channel Industries, a fair sized privately owned group of ocean-related companies.
