I think Garrison would be amused if he knew about the little 
set-to we've had on the net about net.wobegon.  The drive to 
eliminate this quiet newsgroup, the response from people
otherwise too shy to talk much, the discussion sparked among
the shy people, and of course, this note.

I wonder what USENET looks like down by Lake Wobegon?  I remember
a story once about the school there getting a micro, and a 
six-year-old remarking that "you have to plug in the floppy"
to a bunch of baffled adults.
