I can send people a version of chksum() (in pk0.c in the uucp
source) if you want to get UUCP running on 68000 machines with
UniSoft Unix.  Of course you have to transport over the uucp source
and fix the other bugs (dereferencing NULL pointers, left-over
values in work arrays, the off-by-one bug in anlwrk.c, etc).  A list
of UUCP bugs was posted to net.sources (I think) a while ago.

But don't give up hope; we have UUCP working with our old Sun running
UniSoft V7.
