The Eagles seem to be working, as is the driver for them.  We've got
a bad-block map for them (the one that Micos wrote -- we hope it's
somewhere close to right!), have settled on a filesystem layout, and
have built the filesystems we'll need for initial operation.  We have
started the lengthy process of restor'ing the big filesystems onto
them.  Yet to be done are the details of booting from them, plus revising
our standalone disaster-recover software to work with them.  If nothing
goes seriously wrong, we *may* be running on them by Tuesday.
