It's named /dist. Shutdown(1) and /etc/rc have been modified accordingly. To avoid long delays in filesystem checks after a crash, the fsck on /dist is spun off into the background towards the end of /etc/rc, so /dist may not be available immediately after reboot. -- Henry Spencer @ U of Toronto Zoology {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!henry
