This IS a fundamental issue in the abortion debates. Why? Simple. *IF* the fetus is NOT human, then the woman can exercise her right over her own body without censure by anyone. However, *IF* the fetus *IS* human, the woman's "right over her own body" *CAN AND SHOULD* be limited by LAW to protect the human-fetus's right to "life, liberty, etc.".
