Ah, OK, I see your point.  Anyway, I want to emphasize that abortion,
infanticide and other nasties need not have a stress-related component
to become active in human societies.  Culture and society become
correspondingly strong forces which might engender such behavior
in the absence of undue stress.

Why, I was just reading in Time magazine (that august journal) that
