With dolby b (ideally c also). Aux in, and aux out, headphone jacks, tape counter, some kind of meters, & tone control(s). Should accept external mikes. I live in New Hampshire and can't find anything like it. Does it exist? If it's good enough, I'm willing to pay up to $800 (excluding microphones). I'll be using it for a wide variety of purposes (sound effects, conversation, AND MUSIC). What do ethnomusicologists, naturalists, etc., use in the field?
