I am unfortunately speaking from experience. Even when the stains appear to be gone, they re-appear in as outlines when the window steams up. So a word of caution, if you do find it necessary to use Fantastic on windows, do so with plenty of water around to flush to excess off before it gets a chance to dry on. Rick Schieve ihuxf!rls
