curious Texans, indeed, I remember a few years back, when no-one had
any gas at all, that the statistics showed Texans to have the highest
per-capita consumption of gas...btw, Californians were 37th, I think
(or somewhere in the middle), probably because of all the small cars.
Another statistic, half of the new cars bought in California
are foreign, which is quite a bit higher than the national average....
