I would not reccomend using grease on the back of your pads to stop squeal.
The pads get real hot and the grease could melt and lube your brakes. 
Chrysler sells some goo (like GE silicon) that you apply to the back of the
pads and it dampens out the high frequency vibrations that cause the squeal.
Chamfering the leading edge of the pads is also a cure.
