I have noticed that most of the literature I have seen talks about dashboard/ visor type mounting. I have also heard that the escort is supposed to be a very good one, but I would like something that didn't have to be mounted above the dash. I would also appreciate the indulgence of someone to supply information about how police radar is used; What's the significance of super-hetrodyne, x and k band, etc. ?
