Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 14 Am DISAPPOINTED with new 4-door GLC/LX I just bought for my mother. The automatic trans shifts harshly and while driving a constant 30-35mph (2000 rpm) the engine falters - during cold weather, not much but enough to be noticeable, and during warm weather, unbearable. (It is not ignition miss.) The dealer has been working on the car to fix a severe hesi- tation and stalling problem which appears to be 95% gone. (at last!) Has anyone else heard of or experienced similar problems with MAZDA? The latest issue of "Consumer Reports" says the '83 GLC has "much worse than average" fuel system problems. According to MAZDA "we fixed the problem in the '84s." (Any bets?) (I know... I should have bought a TOYOTA. I may yet anyway!)
