My questions are : #1. If I don't remount the generator, how long can I expect to operate the engine on just the battery alone? There are no accessories to run just the engine ignition. If it would last 4 - 5 hours before running down the battery I wouldn't bother with the generator. #2. The engine is in an open type tubing frame..will there be enough air flow to keep the engine cool without the fan? I have removed all of the shrouding from around the cylinder heads.
