Can anyone steer me to any recent publication(s) showing comparisons
of car stereo systems?  In looking around, every dealer I find says
"Don't get THAT brand - nothing but trouble! THIS is the best!"

I've also been handed a line that the factory installed models of some
stereo manufacturers (Blaupunkt for example) are NOT nearly as good as
their after-market models. This seems possible since, although I've 
always heard Blaupunkt rated as a top of the line system, I've also
heard of many cases where a factory installed unit was no prize.
