I don't suspect that any of the modern 35mm cameras will be damaged by the vibration of cycling, especially as they are become less mechanical all the time. I have often ridden with one in backpacks and have also ridden with my camera equipment sholder bag. I also fly with it sitting on the dash of the airplane which is probably worse vibration than bicycling ever is. However, I did have a Pentax Spotmatic II camera, which had a rather cheap meter switch. It broke while riding around in a volkswagon bus one day. -Ron
