Jim Hartmann,

I have no personal experience with the Cannondale bike.  However, I read
in the May issue of Bicycling that they originally had trouble with the 
heat treating process resulting in bent tubes.  The result was that many
orders placed last year were not filled until the season ended.  The problem
is supposedly fixed.
