For any of you who may be confused, Thomas Pynchon's novel "V."
(recently discussed in net.books) apparently has nothing to do with the
NBC mini-series "V" (recently discussed in net.movies).  The titles
aren't even quite identical, although they almost are: take a close
look at the punctuation.
