I typed that from *memory*!] doing the book as Jeff is. I'm not impressed by the ad he's done for it (the cover for the latest MARVEL AGE). This also reminds me to mention, in case there are any of you out there who haven't heard, that X-MEN #186 will be a double-sized issue with art by Barry Windsor-Smith and Terry Austin (an awesome combination; let's hope it works). A recent COMIC BUYER'S GUIDE had a brief interview with Bill Mantlo in which he talks about future developments in ROM and THE HULK. Apparently, he *is* planning to finish off the Wraith business once and for all, and get Rom into other things. I suspected that putting all of the Marvel super-teams in on the action, the Wraiths couldn't last long. Before it's finished, the war against the Wraiths will cross over into THE X-MEN, FF, etc. as it has already done in THE AVENGERS. His plans for the Hulk really came as a surprise (and with a Spoiler Warning!). I won't repeat it here, but its way was paved by a recent WHAT IF? If you thought Spidey's new costume, or She-Hulk's replacing the Thing in the FF was something, wait'll you see HULK #300. --- jayembee (Jerry Boyajian, DEC Maynard) UUCP: (decvax!decwrl!rhea!akov68!boyajian) ARPA: (decwrl!rhea!akov68!boyajian@Shasta)
