It relates to the recent article recounting a news item in The Comic Buyer's Guide. The CBG news item related the seeming demise of Capitol and Texas comics companies, as well as the problems at Comico. My source has been in contact with First Comics, and it seems 99% certain they will pick up Justice Machine from Texas Comics, and, failing that, The Elementals from the same (defunct) company. In either case, the first First issue should be out by summer. If the above seems convoluted, I apologise, but that's the way I got it from my source. If you are a fan of the Justice Machine as I am, this is happy news indeed. I find First to be the best of all possible worlds as a comic book company: You get the advantages of an "alternative" comic book company, but with a "get-those-issues-out-when-promised" publishing reliability record that is second to none, including the Big Two. It is amazing to many, both in and out of the industry, but First doesn't ever seem to produce a late issue. I have rambled on too long for information content here. -hoop ..!ihnp4!druky!hoop AT&T Information Systems
