HEY, someone else noticed!!

Yes, indeed, there was a little girl named Maddy Pryor, and she did
show up a few months before the adult character of the same name was
brought out in XMen.  THAT was the reason why I was convinced that
Jean Grey managed to reincarnate, as a normal.

Incidentally, who out there has paid attention to the very occasional
character Firebird?  A woman of mexican indian background, with the
most Interesting power (another Sunfire type), who, when changing, gets
this Interesting aura of flames shaped like a birdie.  

THAT one had me going for a while, until I realized that the reason
was to keep the trademark active on the "bird of flames" imagery.
