I. too, noticed "Madeline Pryor" in that Avengers annual (#10).  By the
way, this was the issue in which Rogue stole Ms. Marvel's powers and
memories.  If you also noticed it was written by Clairmont, you may have 
your answer already--perhaps he just likes the name (and redheads too).
