Bits for the buggy machine's bit bucket. All of you know by now that Sears is giving free gifts for filling out a credit application. I just got an umbrella. The Radio Shack in Buffalo just gave me a free book on computers for filling out a citiline credit application. They also offered me some records or cassette tapes. There were some requirements: 1) age over 18 2) some credit cards other than gasoline (JCPenney OK) 3) current employment 4) willingness to fill out the application. The store was trying to clear out its old books and records so I don't know if this is possible in other stores. -- Howard D.
