It simply boils down to this: If you are not bothered by the fact that anyone within a radius of about 12 miles can listen in to your phone conversation if they so wish, then go ahead and buy one if you like. (But don't make any drug deals over the phone :-) You might also ponder whether a cordless phone will be as convenient as it appears. If you are as tidy as I am you are better off having the thing tied down than scurrying all over the house trying to find out where you left the handset. Pete Hardie P.S.
