Another example of this kind of ripoff occurs in magazines like PC and Byte. These places with full page ads listing prices on the framus 900 PC gizmo look pretty good, until you see the fine print hidden somewhere that the prices are for cash, or represent a cash discount. The notion of a "regular price" is about as bogus as a "list price".
