     I have a neighbor accross the street from me who works for
Farmer's Insurace in the claims office.  He was just forced to sell his house
because Farmer's Insurance is moving its claim office out of the Chicago
area (Aurora) to Springfield, Illinois.  The company seems to believe that
it cannot justify its existence in the Chicagoland area because most of their
clients reside south of Springfield, Illinois.  I have no information on
how it handles claims.  If this move is any indication of where you might
have to go in case you have a problem with a claim, I would take note of
this.
