Lines: 27 I'll add my horror story to the list. I took People's Express from Ithaca, New York to Boston via Newark. It was "Super Sunday", and I made plans so that I would arrive hours before the opening kick off. After numerous hassles and delays, I finally made it into Logan to hear the final minutes of the first quarter on the car radio. The reason for the lateness was delays in Newark. I ended up leaving three flights after the one upon which I was scheduled. My net savings by flying People's over some reputable carrier was about twenty bucks. Whoops...I had to check a bag. Make that about eighteen bucks. So the moral of the story is if it's worth taking the chance of being faced with hours of frustrations and inferior ser- vice for the sake of a few dollars, then fly Peoples. If you want to save even more money and have a more enjoyable trip with fewer delays and hassles, take the train. To be fair, there is one good thing I can say about People's Express. They spared me the agony of having to sit through the Superbowl. -- Chip Rosenthal, Intel/Santa Clara {pur-ee|hplabs|ucbvax!amd70|ogcvax!omsvax}!intelca!t4test!{chip|news}
