Currently there is no regulation limiting the liability of a consumer for unauthorized use of a Calling Card. If such a regulation is passed the consumer would only be liable for the first $50. An ATT spokesman said there was no reason for such a regulation because ATT has never billed a customer for a charge from a lost or stolen card. A government spokesman then said if that is true then ATT should have no reason to object to the regulation.
