I only need to switch 5 RS-232 lines (2,3,5,7,20). The glossy catalogs seem to want $150 and more for a T-Switch. I just bought a smart printer buffer which converts handshaking protocols and has 8k of buffer as well. This goes on one end of the T. It looks like the switch could cost more than the buffer.
