I want to thank all of those who answered my request for a copy
of the umodem program.  I now have a working version and I wish
to thank the southern gentleman who provided me with it.

PS.  Personal Computer users with modems.  If you're interested
in a bulletin board system with up/download/mail/write/multiuser
capabilities try the Duncan Communications Notefile system at
(317) 463-4592 at 300 or 1200 baud.  It is similar to the U of
Ill. notes system and is liberally sprinkled with help messages.
