There is no support whatsoever from DEC for this compiler. The DECUS Structured Languages SIG is the focus for bug reports on this compiler. It is distributed in source form, and the user is expected to be able to support it himself. If this is sufficient for the original application, then that's just fine. I believe the charge for the magtape from DECUS is about $160. I use this compiler all the time on my RT-11 system and I think it's just great! VAX-11 C, however, is a native-mode compiler which is sold and supported by DEC. I believe the binary license fee for that compiler is in the neighborhood of $6000. --Bob Hoffman, Pitt CS
