Thanks to all of you who responded to my request for help in getting
a downloader to RSX-11M.  I am sorry that I did not provide more
detail about what I had tried since I had tried everything I could
glean out of the RSX-11M manuals (yes, including read with prompt)
and short of implementing a packet system.  I just wasn't having
any success...

The solution I am going to pursue is the KERMIT system which is
available from Columbia University (and apparently, DECUS.  I must
have missed it) and is supposed to have RSX-11M support.  KERMIT
appears to be yet another package widely known on ARPANET but
unknown to those of us who are in the sticks of USENET...
