Since it was addressed to the net, I will keep it here. Just would like to clear a couple of comments in your article. As I stated in my earlier message, I didn't catch the beginning of this. If you are responding to another article, it should be addressed to who ever. 1. >But, like you Pat, I will not believe this (though I think >that I will blame Man while you will blame the pitchfork >dealer.)...... I never said, or implied, that I blame the pitchfork dealer. I never brought any devil, or what have you, in this conversation. Read my article again. I said Mankind is killing mankind. NEVER mentioned "pitchfork dealer" or anything close. Unless you look at "Mankind" as being the "pitchfork dealer." 2. >As to the "sympathy" that I will hear about how poor I am >without a god the father to protect me, and to lean against, >sorry, I don't need your crutch. Walt, I don't know where you picked this up at all. If it was from the paragraph.... "Mankind can change the world back to where it should be. If they believe in God or not, mankind can change it. If we, 'the fooling ourselves' (as it was put by Walt) will only help it along. BUT GOD CAN'T DO IT HIMSELF." The prayer that I was saying is not for sympathy. Why should someone who doesn't believe in God pray to God? That is why that I said "we, the fooling ourselves...". I don't put sympathy on anyone for their beliefs on God. At least they are strong enough to know what they believe. I don't pity you. I don't ask for you to take my "crutch." My belief of praying for a better world in not a crutch to me. If you don't agree, you have that right. But don't take my belief as placing it as a crutch. Now, I will try one more time to close this so I don't offend anyone. There are good people as much as there are bad. Believing in God or not does not make you good or bad. Your own life style is what makes you. Caring for people, helping your neighbor, giving a smile to a stranger, doesn't say anything else but a good person. So, Walt, we are in agreement about mankind. We only differ with God. It is not my place to sympathize, to pray for your soul. It sounds like as long as you care for man and want to help man, why should I pity you? I won't and don't judge you for your beliefs. That is why that I tried to end my last message with: >I am not saying that Walt and his thoughts are destroying this >world. Remember my comments about the church hypocrites? Mankind >is destroying Mankind. I just wanted to comment on his theory >about blaming God for our own world as it is today. Pat Wegner AT&T ISL druca!plw
