Tell you what, Tim: Why don't you go back to Michigan. Maybe they
will give you advanced standing. Hurry. And while you are there,
take a course or two (or three) in English (the non-computer
language). Glad you told us your background. For a minute there I
was afraid they had forgotten how to teach English at the U.
Perhaps it is only fair to let you in on the big secret that
everyone else at the UofM learns as a Freshman:Register Early!
Get in line before 5 a.m. if possible. Sorry no one told you, but
I guess there are some things one has to learn for himself.
