People who make comments like this must live in some kind of dream world.
They apparently believe that a president has a magic wand which can be used
to solve problems without causing anyone any hardships.  Somehow, Reagan
chooses not to use the magic wand.

No, Virginia, there is no magic wand.  DECADES of federal deficit spending
have bent the economy so far out of shape that one wonders whether recovery
is possible.
