Lines: 20 [] [] What's all this flaming about student loans?? Does someone out there actually think the GSL program should be eliminated??? The income restrictions the Reagan administration added certainly do prevent rich kids from getting the loans, so what's the problem. If the program was eliminated, enrollment in colleges would probably be cut in half immediately, creating thousands of unemployed ex-students. Let's face it -- even a student who gets a lucrative engineering job for 4 months a year would still not even come close to the $10,000+ tuition at our private universities.
